Why practice Much / Many / A lot of exercises?

Master much, many and a lot of step by step. Start with the basic rule — much before uncountable nouns and many before countable nouns (A1). Then practise how much and how many questions to ask about quantity (A1). At A2, learn when to choose a lot of instead of much or many, especially in affirmative sentences. Progress to B1 with much in comparisons ('much better'), formal English, and so much / so many as intensifiers. Finish with mixed exercises combining every rule.
