Compound indefinite pronouns follow the same rules as some/any/no. Use 'something/somebody/somewhere' in affirmative sentences and offers. Use 'anything/anybody/anywhere' in negatives, questions, and after semi-negatives. Use 'nothing/nobody/nowhere' to make a sentence negative without 'not'.
